To help ensure fast market access, Bureau Veritas Electrical and Electronic Product Services offers a CE marking Compliance Review service, to help you demonstrate compliance with the essential requirements of the EMC Directive, the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and if applicable the EMC & Safety requirements under the R&TTE Directive.

Our Approach
View product and identify applicable standards
Check all relevant documents have been supplied
Check documents apply to the product/model supplied
Check tests carried out were to the appropriate standard
Note any shortfalls and issue letter of findings
Check that the test lab is an accredited test lab
Check that the test lab is accredited for the standards that the product was tested to
Strip product and check that the components listed on the test report are the same as those in the product. (i.e. that the product is still the same as the one originally tested)
Carry out a 'due diligence' electrical safety screen test of a limited number of clauses of the safety standard plus a plug and cable check.
If required, carry out a 'due diligence' EMC screen test of a limited number of clauses of the EMC standard.
