Bureau Veritas Electrical electronic components

IECQ CECC

LCIE, a Bureau Veritas Electrical company, is the French certification Body designated by the IEC for the certification of electronic components and is empowered to deliver the IECQ-CECC marks of conformity.

The Insurance quality system for electronic components IECQ-CECC is designed for manufacturers, distributors and testing laboratories dealing with electronic components.

Certified components are manufactured, controlled and tested accordingly to applicable standards, under the vigilance of an independent third-party Certification Body such as LCIE. This allows the end-user to make sure the product he purchases fully satisfies to the requirements of the applicable related specification.

Photovoltaics

LCIE is an active member of IECEE, the IEC branch dedicated to Electrical Equipment. IECEE has integrated Photovoltaics in its scope in 2003, for serving the industry about standards and product certification needs.

LCIE is appointed as a Certification Body for delivering the IECEE/PV certificate to manufacturers of Photovoltaics products. The certificate enables the manufacturer who has been granted the certificate to achieve the PV-GAP mark, the Global Approval Program for Photovoltaics dedicated to the sustained growth of global photovoltaics markets to meet energy needs worldwide.

The process of product certification includes the technical file examination, a factory audit focused on manufacturing and control processes, and examination of product testing results. The process is conducted by experienced engineers having a double competence in audit and electronic product certification.

The range of products certified covers the silicon solar photovoltaic modules, and may be extended to all other solar cells and equipment.
