EMAS Process Management System Certification in accordance with Annex V of EuP Directive - EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) is a management tool to improve a company's environmental performance. It is available in Europe for all business sectors since 2001 when it was reviewed by the European Regulation (EC) No 761/2001 - or EMAS II. In a few words, EMAS is an Environmental Management System (EMS), exactly as established by ISO 14001, and includes the additional requirement to issue a public statement that reports the company's environmental performance.
