The Bureau Veritas-Allion laboratory was established in Taiwan over 15 years ago, dedicated to verification of computers, operating systems and peripherals and their associated interoperability. The service offered can either be a bespoke customer requirement, a turnkey plug & play verification or a more formal Logo / Certification Program.
In addition to the various interoperability tests performed, we also work closely with Microsoft on new releases of their operating systems (e.g. Vista) and a number of key IT manufacturers to ensure their products can maximise interoperability.

Prices, Samples required & Turnaround times
The costs are dependent on the level of interoperability you require checking. To aid retailers, manufacturers and importers, we have implemented a 3 tier system of testing, which is detailed below:
Quick - Typically carried out against one computer type & one software type
Basic - Several computer types, hubs and software
Full - More than 90% of computer and software on the market
It is expected that the quick tests could be used for annual re-test and supplier screening purposes, whilst a full test would be employed by retailers establishing a private brand in consumer electronics.
