One day’s seminar on Safety and Quality control for lighting products was successfully held on Sep 12 2006 in Taizhou, Zhejiang Province. The topics covered an update in lighting standards, critical points in testing, complex issues to control in mass production, environmental regulation, as well as Bureau Veritas’s solution. The seminar attracted more than 80 delegates from manufacturers and the trading / sourcing community. To highlight the seminar's success, several participants immediately expressed their interest for co-operation.
Over the following two days, we continued with IECQ-HSPM/QC080000 internal audit training. Around 25 quality people from manufacturers participated in this training course with very positive feedback being received. Several clients also expressed their intention to perform the HSPM audit with Bureau Veritas.
