February 2, 2007 – Taipei, Taiwan, and Malaga, Spain - AT4 wireless (formerly known as CETECOM Spain) and Bureau Veritas ADT have announced that AT4 wireless Systems Division has won a contract for fixed and mobile WiMAX conformance test systems with Bureau Veritas ADT Taiwan. AT4 wireless’ Systems Division will provide system, project management, installation and training services and the fixed and mobile WiMAX radio and protocol conformance test system based on their MINT T2110 for RF and MINT T2230 and T2231 for PCT. AT4 wireless will supply also a test bed for fixed WiMAX interoperability testing. AT4 wireless’ Labs Division will train Bureau Veritas ADT employees on test procedures for WiMAX products. The AT4 wireless MINT T2110 Conformance Test System is the official radio conformance test system for WiMAX certification of IEEE 802.16-2004 and ETSI HiperMAN-based devices. MINT T2110 covers the transmitter and receiver test cases for base stations and subscriber stations according to the WiMAX CS 103 001 test specification. MINT T2110 will soon include IEEE 802.16e-2005 Mobile WiMAX Test cases. The new test systems, MINT T2230 and MINT T2231, include the BS and MS protocol conformance test cases required for IEEE 802.16e-2005, otherwise known as Mobile WiMAX. “We have known ADT for years and we recognized their leading position in such fields as Wi-Fi Testing in Taiwan, as well as in the Worldwide market; and this is a good opportunity to enhance our cooperation in the WiMAX field, where we hope to have more opportunities to cooperate in the very near future.
